Xavier Slated to play in Anaheim Classic for 2012-13 Season

CINCINNATI --- The Xavier men's basketball team will participate in the 2012 ESPN Anaheim Classic. The event will be held November 22, 23 and 25, 2012 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif. All games will be aired on the ESPN Family of Networks. Previous winners of the event include UNLV, Saint Louis, West Virginia, Wake Forest and USC.

This will be Xavier’s fourth ESPN Exempt Event in the past five years. The other participating teams and tournament pairings will be announced at a later date.

The 2012 ESPN Anaheim Classic will replace the Puerto Rico Tip-Off on the 2012-13 schedule.
