Former Rhode Island Head Coach Now at the helm for Canisius

Former Rhode Island coach Jim Baron has decided to take the Canisius job.
Baron, who won 20 games in the previous four seasons prior to this year, spent 11 years at URI. He was 184-165 in his tenure, but was let go after a 7-24 campaign this season.
Sources told CBSSports.com that a news conference is scheduled for early this week.
Baron replaces Tom Parrotta, who was 5-25 this past season and 64-121 in his tenure.
Baron was also the head coach at St. Bonaventure from 1992-2001.
