Some assistant spots about to be filled - here's what I've heard....
• Virginia Tech assistant Rob Ehsan is involved with a spot on Jarrod Haase’s staff at UAB. Before Virginia Tech, Ehsan spent six seasons with Gary Williams at Maryland.
• Bruce Weber is close to hiring former SIU head coach Chris Lowery as an assistant on his new staff at Kansas State. Lowery spent three seasons serving under Weber, two at SIU, and one season at the University of Illinois.
• Northwest College head coach Andy Ward has resigned, and is close to nailing down a spot on Bill Evans new staff at Idaho State. Ward was 94-61 in five seasons at Northwest.
i bet K-State will be very good with weber as coach. He was a great coach at SIU and Illinois. I think he just fell out of favor with their president and so forth.
