Robert Morris picks up 4th commitment in men's hoops for 2013-2014 season

Robert Morris has picked up their fourth commitment from the class of 2013, as 6-foot-6 forward Jeremiah Worthem pledged his decision.
By way of the Math, Civics & Sciences Charter School (PA) in Philadelphia, Worthem will join Britton LeeEmmanuel Omogbo, and Kavon Stewart on campus next season.
Math, Civics & Sciences athletic director Lonnie Diggs e-mailed in the news of Worthem’s commitment on Thursday morning.
According to previous updates, Worthem officially visited Robert Morris during the of Sep. 27 and followed that with a trip to Stony Brook on Oct. 3. Just last weekend, the forward visited Wagner as part of their annual Midnight Madness event.
Known as a tough, physical combo forward, Worthem has piled up a number of mid-major offers during his recruitment. With a decision now out of the way, the Philadelphia-native can resume his focus on one final season at the Math, Civics & Science Charter School before heading to Robert Morris prior to the start of the 2013-14 season.
“I felt really comfortable with Coach Toole and his staff, I also know I will get a good education and have a chance to play right away and as well as have a chance to make the NCAA tournament every year,” Worthem said.
Head coach Andy Toole guided the Colonials to 26 wins a season ago and will once look to have Robert Morris in contention atop the Northeast Conference in 2012-13.
With a strong recruiting class that now stands at four with the addition of Worthem, the expectations circling the program should continue to rise in the years to come.
